PODCAST

WPTS has teamed up with the University of Pittsburgh's Bucket Brigade for Haiti - simply come on up to our 4th floor studios in the WIlliam Pitt Union with any of the following items and they'll be picked up for delivery on February 8th. HELP WPTS REACH OUR GOAL OF 5 BUCKETS FULL! Here are the items that we can accept:

BABY WIPES, NON-LIQUID SOAP, WASHCLOTHS, HAND TOWELS, TOOTHPASTE, TOOTHBRUSHES, COMBS, AND BRUSHES. LIQUID ITEMS OR ANYTHING THAT CAN LEAK CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

To help students obtain items for this brigade, Costco at the Waterfront will be open from 3-8 PM for Pitt students to shop for bulk items, both for themselves and for Haiti's bucket brigade. Buses will leave from Bigelow Blvd every half hur (next to the Pittsburgh Athletic Association). Please make sure to bring your valid Pitt ID or you will not be able to participate!

If you can't make it to Costco, there is currently an on-campus marketplace at the William Pitt Union Ticket Office and Nordy's Place, provided by Pitt and the Student Health Service Pharmacy. This event is running through February 8th.

Finally, visit www.pittsburghsgotsole.com for more information on donating shoes to Haitian victims.

For RayDawn The 86th, choosing his dreams over normality was the most liberating decision of his life: one his parents loathed, but later learned to embrace. Read More...
